Sports Chiropractic and the Olympics

In the run up to the London 2012 Olympic Games the worlds eyes were focused on our international athletes. Here we had a particular interest as one of our patients, Laura Turner prepared her bid for qualification in the 100m sprint. Having participated at the Beijing Olympics four years earlier, we had high hopes of her succeeding. Laura ran a time of 11.27 whilst at warm weather training camp in Arizona. An creditable performance.

Eight years later ‘Steve Jones Chiropractic’ boasted another olympian - Kadeena Cox OBE - who won double gold in the Tokyo 2020/21 Olympic Games.

Treating sports people at ‘Steve Jones Chiropractic’ is an absolute joy as most of these athletes have only ever had Physio care, so all the stuff in which we excel - adjusting the spine and pelvis, cranial work and extremity adjusting - is all new to them and once experienced they never look back

Steve has also treated Martin Skinner, the strength and conditioning coach to Jo Durie’s junior tennis academy (and former S & C coach to Nick Kyrgios) and achieved results when all the other approaches at Martin’s disposal had failed.

A chiropractor has so much to offer to the sporting community, be it at local or international level, so why not book in now and see what we can do to help.

Steve Jones Chiropractic, Pinner wishes all sportsmen and women success in their endeavours.
